Services Offered

Individual Counseling & Consulting

I am a trained professional that counsels individuals & couples to promote optimal mental health, well-being, and growth in all relationships. I provide counseling/mental health therapy/psychotherapy for people ages 18+, of all races, and diverse backgrounds using multiple modalities. I work from a client-centered approach in collaboration with my clients to improve lives. I provide these services in a safe and confidential environment assisting clients to explore issues, recognize strengths, find solutions, develop a plan and work toward goals.

While some situations will require few sessions, some will require more. I work in partnership with my clients to determine the appropriate amount of sessions needed and continually re-assess where clients feel they are in the counseling process and develop a plan that works for each specific individual or couple.

“Our brains are wired for connection, but trauma re-wires them for protection. That’s why healthy relationships are difficult for wounded people.”

Ryan North

“We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.”

Gabor Maté

“The somatic psychotherapist view the body and mind as essentially interconnected and investigates how the person expresses themselves in posture, gesture, muscular patterns, emotional patterns and physiological arousals; and then helps facilitate self-regulation process when the body-mind has become imbalanced.”

- Manuela Mischke-Reeds, MA, LMFT

“Although humans rarely die from trauma, if we do not resolve it, our lives can be severely diminished by its effects. Some people have even described this situation as a “living death.”
